ATRIUM LJUNGBERG TAKES THE LEAD,

TURNS EVERY PACKAGE INTO A PRESENT

The property company Atrium Ljungberg is launching its version of The Point—Leveriet—a service point that you will gladly make a special trip to get to.

Not because it is launching in remote locations. It will open first at Sickla Shopping Center in Nacka, just outside Stockholm, on November 29th, 2018, closely followed by Mobilia Shopping Center in Malmö on December 4th. Both are good-sized malls with approximately 1.1–1.2 million visitors per month.

“In 2019, the concept will be scaled up and rolled out all over the country.”

At Sickla, Leveriet will consist of 200 square meters of delivery service storefront with extra everything. That means that customers will be able to collect and drop off packages, manage returns, use fitting rooms to try out clothes they have ordered, get help recycling packaging, wrap gifts, rest their legs, charge their phones... In addition to all this, there will be another 200 square meters of storage area. At Mobilia, the service area will be 205 square meters and the storage area will be 130 square meters.

The storage areas enable not only regular delegated storage but also the concept of enhanced end-point storage.

LIKE AMAZON, BUT BETTER

Enhanced end-point storage means that online retailers can deliver a batch of products to a Leveriet site in advance—before holiday sales, for example—so customers can collect an order only 10 minutes after placing it.
This makes it possible for online retailers to make predictive deliveries by capitalizing on the type of shipping and delivery data the e-commerce giant Amazon uses to offer its renowned one-hour deliveries.

“Along with the staff’s high service level, Leveriet also lets retailers buy advertising space in the showroom for a limited amount of time.”

The best part of it all is that you can start operating like Amazon without having their logistical muscle. In other words, you do not have to own the whole delivery chain to offer world-class deliveries.

A SHOWROOM FOR ONLINE RETAILERS

Along with the staff’s high service level, Leveriet also lets retailers buy advertising space in the showroom for a limited amount of time. This means both physical display cases as well as large digital screens that you can use to show off your products and your brand.

ONLY THE BEGINNING

Atrium Ljungberg is one of the largest listed property companies in Sweden, owning property in the country’s four largest cities: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Uppsala. The launch of Leveriet at the Sickla and Mobilia shopping centers marks the start of an entirely new network of service points within Atrium Ljungberg’s department stores and other properties. In 2019, the concept will be scaled up and rolled out all over the country.

Why Did It Take So Long?

The need and demand for this type of service have existed for a long time—until now, it has not been possible to meet them.
